G R O W T H. P R A Y E R. C O M M U N I T Y.

What does a positive community look like? L O V E. Love flowing in every direction. Love even through the tough days, Love even when things go wrong. A C C E P T I N G. No matter what you have struggled with or are struggling with, the community surrounds you with acceptance and love. G O D  C E N T E R E D. Every action points to him. Everything is an act of worship. P R A Y E R F U L   P E O P L E. Satan attacks, the community comes together in prayer. Someone receives bad news, the community circles around them with prayers. In the good and in the bad, the community prays.

S E N I O R  W E E K  at Midwest Bible Camp was such a community. Only seven days, yet it felt like thirty. Old friends and new faces came together to form a community solely centered around GOD and his purpose. An atmosphere of positivity; an atmosphere of love.

Now since we have chosen to walk with the Spirit, let’s keep each step in perfect sync with God’s Spirit.  This will happen when we set aside our self-interests and work together to create true community instead of a culture consumed by provocation, pride, and envy. || GALATIANS 5:25-26 (VOICE)

When the community returned to the “real world”, no one was able to describe the experience that had happened over the course of the past seven days. All we could do was shrug our shoulders and point upward. The emotionally, physically, and mentally draining events during the week couldn’t be put into words, but could only be continued by actions. Intentionally taking the experience of positive community inside the circle of trees and extending it into every other community the people were apart of. It is the mission of everyone who experienced what a truly GOD centered community looks like, to try to bring pieces of it into every aspect of day-to-day life.
We are a people of L O V E.
We are a C O M M U N I T Y.
